Understanding Your Style

Everyone has a different fashion sense, and as expected it would be a bit more difficult for men to express their own. Not about cultural reasons but the limited outlets there are within the island where they can get items that suit their style. Having shopped throughout the island I can comfortably say there are two  generic style for men. One is the DRESSED UP DAPPER GUY and the other is the LAID BACK GYM GUY. Which aren't bad categories in their respective sense, however style doesn't come in two categories, if it did then there would be NO PRINCE, MICHEAL ,PHARREL or even ANDRE 3000 who took their own fashion sense and nurture it where they dressed confidently in whatever they put on. Which in turn had designers such as KARL,GIANNI , TOM, OLIVIER, TOMMY and even OSCAR, who ran with the ideas that were fed off those men which they used as muses. Not saying that in order for your to follow your fashion sense, means that you have to rob a bank or two, but you can still feed your style and have what you need all under a suitable budget. With local designers on the island such as Rissa  Eclectik Kouture who caters for the guy who is in touch with his bohemian and African roots. Shazie  who creates those classic lining styles for men with a bit of an edgy style where he in cooperates different colors , textures and prints into his collection  , or even My local tailor ( Mr Julian ) who have brought forth some amazing pieces that was created used pen and paper into wearable dreams........... Say you're a guy who likes to purchase off the rack, where you can get a variety of options from many different styles with a fashion house name tired to it still under an affordable budget, then you have options  such as ASOS, which is a mlti branded store that caters for men who are looking from items from sporty to black tie , 21 MEN which caters for the contemporary and edgy  guy , GAP , H&M , Calvin Klein , Old Navy Kenneth Cole and Ralph Lauren. which caters for guys who have the classic sense of style but can mix and match between vintage and modern pieces. At those stores you have the freedom to  select a variety of colors and styles, lay them out , try them on or even when shopping online , you get full descriptions as well as full on looks for different ideas, which would spark or intrigue  their minds into trying out different colors , patterns and materials. Those stores would give men who does not have a standard taste and can cater to their needs. Guys should express their fashion sense with out having to many brothers or robbing banks.
