The Man Under The Lucian Cap

Having a vision at the tender age of 19, Shamar Marcus did not waste any time getting  into action and became the man behind Carib Vybe
hats. When asked about inspiration for his business, the young entrepreneur noted that he wanted to create something where St. Lucian's could proudly wear and represent their country, because he found St. Lucian's aren't as patriotic to St Lucia as other Caribbean natives are to their island homeland, also he indicated that he saw another Caribbean island did hats similar, so he thought it'll be cool and a good movement in St. Lucia. Ensuring that he is not stepping on legal toes, Marcus and his team works diligently to ensure that the imagery and product quality is up to their standards and not only meets consumers needs but exceeds their expectations.

Marcus expressed that he would love to put his hats in stores around the island some day so they can be accessed easily  in various locations island wide, but presently use brand ambassadors and self marketing, along with social media to get this product out there. Stating that one of his challenges in this business presently is supplying customers with  hats in the south of the island, mainly because he is  usually in Castries or the Rodney Bay area ,however he indicated that he has established a " shipping around the island" package with the St. Lucia General Post Office but noticed not many persons use it as they'd like to obtain hats on the go. Carib Vybe executive did not hesitate, when asked " in the near future would you in-cooperate apparel as well", calmly mentioning that he and his team plan to add apparel to their inventory very soon and is currently in the designing and laying out process. He continued, stating that he started doing other island hats as well , some featured are Trinidad and Guyana,  In true Caribbean Style, Shamar noted that his company isn't treading lightly when its comes to being charitable. Having indicated that he and his team are as we speak shipping fresh drinking water on a vessel to our sister island Dominica, and if you thought that they stooped there, think again , as they are presently in the works of creating a GoFund Me account where they can collect from willing individuals to present to the island to help in the aftermath of hurricane Maria. Not straying away from his focus, he said that some of his biggest mentors would have to he Youtubers in the likes of Logan and Jake Paul, Jon Olson , Casey Neistat, because they show their viewers their everyday life and they're all entrepreneurs like himself. also noting that making changes and constantly creating new things and coming up with new ideas interest him personally.
